‘Ruffles n Ridges’ is the result of a cross between two distinctive hostas: H. ‘Komodo Dragon’ as the pod parent and H. ‘Powder Blue’ as the pollen parent. The resulting seedling was selected by R. & G. Fox of Fox Hosta Farm and registered in 2018.
 
The combination makes perfect sense when you see the finished hosta. It brings together the blue-green character of its parents with its own unmistakable personality—pronounced ridges, deeply wavy foliage, and those wonderfully ruffled margins.
